This policy explains how Penny handles information when you use the Windows application and this website.

No account or cloud profile

Penny does not require an account, registration, or sign-in. The application does not upload your accounts, transactions, budgets, recurring schedules, settings, or receipt attachments to an IAM_DEV service.

Local application data

The application stores its working database, settings, logs, and receipt attachments on your device. You may create CSV exports or database backups in folders you select. Those copies remain your responsibility and are not transmitted by Penny.

Information you choose to send

If you contact support@iamdev.me, your email provider delivers the message and the contact details and content you include. We use support messages only to answer requests, investigate issues, and improve the product.

Microsoft Store

Microsoft may process store downloads, ratings, diagnostics, and purchase-related information under its own privacy terms. Penny does not receive your financial records through the Microsoft Store.

Data removal

You can delete records within Penny and can remove the application's local data from your device. Deleting the app may not remove CSV exports or backups you previously saved elsewhere.

Security and backups

You are responsible for access to your device and for keeping any backups you need. No storage system can guarantee absolute security, so protect your Windows account and exported files appropriately.
